Bodywork that gets straight to the point
Movement that keeps you going the right direction
Treatment that puts you at the center
Pain is the language of the nervous system, and my job is to help you learn how to better understand and speak your body’s language.
What I Provide
-
Corrective Exercise
This encompasses the assessment and ongoing treatment of the dysfunctional patterns we often develop that end up causing us pain and/or a loss of optimal function. Through a combination of targeted bodywork and specific movements for you to incorporate into your routines, we’ll begin to address the root cause of many pain and mobility issues. Manual therapy alone is not going to fully resolve any musculoskeletal issue; a comprehensive, holistic approach is needed - one that factors in lifestyle, activity, and restrictions while providing realistic steps towards improved movement.

Manual Therapy
The bodywork I provide often falls more under the category of “medical massage”, as I work to address/alleviate symptoms and root causes of common issues such as TMJ dysfunction, piriformis syndrome, frozen shoulder, thoracic outlet syndrome, tennis/golfer’s elbow, etc. However, I also provide bodywork that is more stress-relief oriented, in which we pay special attention to the nervous system in order to promote whole-body tension relief.
I utilize various modalities including swedish, myofascial release, PNF, and more in order to effectively communicate with the musculoskeletal and nervous systems to create change. During the intake process we will work together to determine what your main goals are, and from there, develop a plan of action to address those needs, whether it’s stress relief, pain relief, or rehabilitation. That’s what makes therapeutic massage stand out…we’re identifying the need, determining how best to address it, and building a therapeutic relationship in which records will be kept, safety and comfort is prioritized, and progress can be made.

Patient Advocacy/Education
Aside from those with a healthcare background or their own health issues they’ve had to learn to navigate, most Americans are not fully aware of the rights, options, and resources available when it comes to their own healthcare. What’s worse is the fact that many have endured medical gaslighting and unethical treatment that perpetuates the cycle of only seeking reactive care for their health, ultimately leading to negative health outcomes.
My desire is to help educate and empower people to make informed decisions regarding their health, as well as provide outside resources for care and ongoing support through wherever your life takes you.
